The Catalina Inn
A picturesque view of the ocean and the countryside, luxurious tropical gardens, fine-cuisine, first-class personalized services, those are the criteria which guided our choice in the creation of the inn and which still distinguish La Catalina.
La Catalina Inn was built in 1988 by a couple from Quebec, Canada. Located on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic, near the village of Cabrera, it is 80 minutes from the Puerto Plata airport and only 10 minutes from Playa Grande beach and its golf course.
The tropical climate throughout the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic provides for an ideal temperature range of between 75ºF and 90ºF throughout the year.

At La Catalina, dining is a priority. We believe exquisite meals to be part of any great vacation. La Catalina has built its reputation on this founding principle. Our French chef, Rémi Rondot, has been with us for the past decade. Adapting classical dishes to new trends, he delicately marries flavors to offer a generous and diversified table further distinguished by its freshness and the subtle aroma of garden herbs.

Condo rental
We discovered La Catalina Inn through Club Aventure in February of 1993. This entrance to paradise, nestled on the mountainside and overlooking the ocean, charmed us with its lush natural surroundings, its modest size, and the sheer elegance of its setting with breathtaking ocean view.
We were lucky enough to purchase a secluded comfortable condominium neighbouring two villas with lush, flowering landscaping. Every year we spend a few weeks unwinding and recharging our batteries near a calm inn with excellent food.
Absent for most of the year, we would like to offer the opportunity for you to enjoy this lovely apartment and experience calm and unwinding days.
